Collagen Type I, as found in Collagen Lift, is the best type of collagen for use in skin & hair supplements. It is well established that collagen is responsible for skin strength and elasticity, and its degradation with age leads to wrinkles.

We add Ulva Mediterranea, a seaweed harvested in the south of France, to Collagen Lift not only to assist the skin to absorb the collagen but also because it is rich in essential amino acids, calcium, magnesium and zinc, as well as the UV protective pigments carotenoids, chlorophylls and xanthophylls. We add Vitamin C to assist in production of collagen within the dermis, it is also a powerful anti-oxidant that scrubs the cells of free radicals, improving the skin’s condition.

Collagen Lift Paris (Black Box) contains collagen, seaweed extract and vitamin C. This is the original formula that people love because it does the job at an affordable price. Collagen Lift Paris ‘Red Carpet’ (Red Box) also contains these 3 ingredients but the formula has added Hyaluronic Acid; Hyaluronic Acid is a gel within the structure of our skin which adds further plumpness, firmness and gold-standard hydration. This is a new luxury formula that works faster but it is more expensive because of the Hyaluronic Acid. Both products are proven to reduce wrinkles by up to 50% and increase skin hydration.

Collagen is the major structural component of the skin. Loss of collagen starts around the age of 20 and collagen is lost at a rate of 2% per annum after menopause. (2)

The secret to Collagen Ageless’s rejuvenating action is Verisol Bioactive Collagen Peptides®. Bioactive means that the hydrolyzed peptides are much smaller than regular collagen molecules. There are no reported side effects of taking Collagen Lift, however effects during pregnancy have not been tested, and it is therefore not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women. Both products have a red berry flavour and must be diluted in water or juice.

Our studies have shown (1) that 4 weeks after the last intake wrinkles and fine lines remained significantly reduced. However, because collagen production slows down with age the rejuvenating effects of Verisol® will need to be maintained with regular supplementation of Collagen Lift.

Ideally Collagen Lift must be taken for at least 3 months and then the dosage can be reduced to 2-3 ampoules per week.
